I've been a busy bee behind the scenes working on my next pattern. I realized that while I've been sharing Daisy Briefs tester photos on social media, I forgot to share them here! Whoops! So let's get to it, shall we? Some of my testers have been very prolific and made themselves quite a few pairs of Daisy Briefs, so I'll share those in upcoming posts. Isn't this a sweet floral? Ashley chose to finish the edges with fold over elastic and left it flat at the waistband and folded at the leg openings. I hadn't though about using FOE flat, so I'll have to try it out! Becky used some out of this world fabric for her briefs, and some contrasting binding. Some of my testers asked about using fabric bands or binding, and while this pattern doesn't have instructions for it, I gave the go ahead. If you find elastics uncomfortable, give fabric bands or binding a try! Denise used a fun double knit fabric with both stripes and dots. I suppose if you use fold over elastic and self fabric for both layers of the gusset, you could have reversible undies. Who knew? haha. I'm a sucker for pretty florals, and Kat picked a pretty one for her briefs. She finished the edges with a perfectly matching narrow FOE. Another space themed fabric here. Kim chose to pair hers with some lovely lace insets (Style D on the pattern) and finish the openings with picot elastic.
That's it for today! Stay tuned for more tester photos. Happy Sewing!
