Along with changing the pattern pieces, we need to change the type of fabrics used in a pullover bra with no closure. Instead of low stretch knits or bias wovens, we need to use a fabric with a lot of stretch (meaning a fabric with a high amount of spandex), but also excellent recovery to provide a high amount of support. In the sample show in the video, I have used milliskin with an overlay of stretch mesh. Other good choices would be: swim lycra, medium-to-heavy weight cotton spandex jersey, and athletic knits.
I design lingerie sewing patterns for everyday comfort and feminine style in an inclusive size range. Fill up your underwear drawer with beautiful custom-made bras and panties in your favorite fabrics and trims, designed to fit your body.
