StylesFabricsTrimsTurquoise 6" stretch lace trim from CindyLaceShow on Etsy. This shop is based in China, and when I placed my order last year (long before covid) it took nearly a month to arrive. I really liked the quality of the laces I received, so it was worth the wait. 1/2" plush strap elastic, 3/4" plush picot elastic, fold over elastic, and continuous hook and eye tape from Sew Sassy. 1/2" silver rings and sliders from Porcelynne. Style NotesOf all the Delvine Bralettes I made, this one is my favorite! Something about it made me think of the Little Mermaid. Once we get back to cold weather, I envision myself wearing this one under a cozy sweater with just the top of the lace peeking out.
It was also with this particular sample that I learned the white picot elastic I had planned to dye must be made from polyester and not nylon, because it didn't absorb any of the acid dye! The straps and hook and eye tape turned out lovely, thankfully. So what to do? I quickly ordered some tan plush picot elastic and used that with my lace samples. If I can't get it to match the lace, then I'll make it match my skintone!
