PatternElodie Briefs in Style B FabricsIt's a bit difficult to tell in the photos on the dress form, but there are two different fabrics used. Main: Matte Milliskin in a very light pink from Spandex World. This is another fabric I find a bit challenging to work with. It is a very dense knit that likes to shift, and sometimes to the needle skips stitches. I found that using a microtex needle and a walking foot helps. Contrast: Stretch mesh, also light pink, from Spandex World. TrimsRed 1.5" stretch lace came in a value pack from Fabric Depot Co. Red 3/8" picot elastic is from Nature's Fabrics. Pre-made red bow with pearl came from Hobby Lobby. Considering these trims came from three different sources, I was shocked that they matched so well. Style NotesI have quite a bit of narrow stretch lace in my stash, and so far I haven't used it on many projects. I thought it would be nice to use lace to emphasize the style lines in this design.
