Alluring high leg openings are paired with elastic or self-fabric finishes to create comfortable everyday panties. The Hellebore Hi-Cut is a mid-rise medium-coverage panty with a fully enclosed gusset. The gusset is longer in front than typical store-bought panties to provide extra protection and comfort. Can be sewn in a wide variety of knit fabrics, fromcotton/spandex jersey, bamboo and rayon blend jerseys, to athletic knits and stretch lace.
◊ Style A: turned back elastic finish
◊ Style B: front and back wide lace overlays with turned back elastic finish
◊ Style C: 1/2”/12mm leg and waist bands
◊ Style D: 1/2”/12mm leg bands and a 1”/2.5cm waist band
◊ Style E: 1/2”/12mm waist and leg bindings
◊ Style F: 2”/5cm lace waist finish and front overlays. Leg finish can be bands or bindings

Waist: 26-50” / 66-127cm
Hip: 35-60” / 89-152cm

Skill level:
Adventurous beginner. Instructions are fully illustrated, and pattern includes links for videos on how to sew an enclosed gusset, and sewing knit bands and binding. You only need to know how to sew straight and zig-zag stitches.
Fabrics & Trims:
Self fabric: Stretch knits with at least 40% stretch; this includes a wide variety of knits such as cotton/spandex jersey, rayon/spandex jersey, bamboo/spandex jersey, stretch mesh, stretch lace, athletic knits.
Styles C-F: for the waist and leg bands or binding, use a knit with excellent recovery such as cotton/spandex jersey or nylon/spandex jersey. Very drapey fabrics that stretch out easily, such as bamboo/spandex or rayon/spandex, are not appropriate.
Gusset Lining: cotton jersey.
Styles A & B: 1/4-3/8”/6-10mm picot edge elastic.
Style B: stretch lace, see chart for minimum width by size.
Style F: Stretch lace 2”/5cm wide
