PatternsFabricsTrimsStretch lace from Fabric Depot Co. 3/4" plush picot elastic and continuous hook and eye tape also from Sew Sassy. Fold over elastic from a 100 yard roll from Sale and Bargain on Ebay. Style NotesSo what do you do when you have a perfect lace but it isn't wide enough for your project? You join strips of lace together! Yes! Very happy I was able to use the perfect lace both on the bralette and on the coordinating boyshorts.
Instead of using adjustable straps on this sample, I continued the neckline and armhole elastics and joined them to the back strap attachment. If you generally don't need to adjust your straps (my cup size fluctuates, so this doesn't apply to me!), then creating stable straps is an option for you. I will advise to increase stability by adding clear elastic or a thin twill tape inside the strap portion of the FOE to provide extra support.
